New Govt - Recommended Policy Outlines and Cabinet Structure

Here are 2 links to recommended national policy outlines and cabinet structures for the new government. These recommendations have been put forward by the "Programme for Formulating Sound National Policies" convened by Prof. Siri Hettige. The programme has called on the expertise of numerous serving and retired senior civil servants and academics and aims to provide a blue print for policy formulation and cabinet structuring.

Highlights 23 policy areas. For each policy area the outline details a Vision, Overarching principles, Approaches, Current State of Policy, Gaps in Current Policy and Final Recommendations

Provides two suggested cabinet configurations based on the 19A (national govt and non-national govt). Looking at synergies at a departmental level, the Cabinet proposals include a complete list of state departments and the respective ministries under which they should fall.
