Manthri.lk - How it works

Here is a quick guide to how Manthri.lk captures the data that forms the parliamentary ranking system:

Step 1

Download a parliamentary Hansard

Step 2

Analyse each statement in the Hansard according to the Verite Research designed coding guide (refer FAQ 2).

Step 3

Input the records into the computer system and apply the Verite Research computed scores, which are based on the concept of productive time (refer FAQ 5).

Step 4

Visit Manthri.lk and see the up-to-date rankings
