Implementable Options for Electoral Reform

by Manthri.lk - Web Team posted about 9 years ago in Analysis

In 2007 a Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) chaired by Hon. Dinesh Gunawardena MP provided recommendations for electoral reform. Utilising and further working on these recommendations, Prof. Rohan Samarajiva (@samarajiva) and Dr. Sujata Gamage (@sujatagamage) have co-authored a paper, which seeks to shed light on the "Implementable Options for Electoral Reform".

The paper focuses on 4 options, including an Option "0" which the authors interpret to be a possible point of consensus agreed upon at the All Party Meeting in Parliament on 10 March 2015.
